Last night while we were deep in sleep, the siren went off. It was midnight, we got dressed quickly and ran to the shelter. After a few hours it was over with no damage, apart from the frigid cold we had to endure upon leaving our warm beds and running outside. There’s snow on the ground and it’s still snowing. It’s so cold your blood freezes but we all run out to the shelters anyway. We’d all rather face the cold than the bombs that may fall at any second, the last attacks instilled fear in us.
