Today is the Feast of the Assumption. We had to work like we do every day. We’ve finally witnessed what summer is like in Germany, it’s been warm for four days and we’ve even seen the sun. I wonder if my little family celebrated this holy day, I hope they’ve received my letters. I wonder if all my loved ones are safe and sound. I wonder if my darling wife and my children have all of God’s bounties like they did when I was there, the good Lord always allowed me to work and provide for my family, and now?! I would love to be able to embrace them all, I pray to God that happy day won’t be too far away!
