Ieri sono andato al Lager dove sono i Carinolesi e quelli di San Donato e dintorni. Gli ho portato un’altro barattolo di miele che loro rivendono agli olandesi- anche loro deportati dai tedeschi come noi. Questi olandesi sono proprio brava gente.

My great grandfather, Benedict Maina, is the brother of Oreste Maina. This past May, my mother, aunt and uncle (dchildren of Anthony Maina, who came to the USA in approximately 1915), sister and I visited Casale Carinola, where the cousins still live.
